Most of the PlayStation 4 gamers are not happy with Sony after the official reveal of PlayStation 4 Pro, an upgraded console in the PlayStation 4 family capable of gaming at UHD 4K resolution with HDR support. The console was revealed officially during Sony’s PlayStation 4 meeting held in New York on September 7th.
The console is equipped with the same AMD 8 core Jaguar APU and 8 GB of GDDR5 memory, but with higher frequencies and the gpu is powered with 4.2 TERAFlops. According to Sony, the PlayStation 4 Pro is capable of running 1080p at 60 frames per second and UHD 4K at 30 frames per second.
However, news of the day is that a British retailer GAME will be offering the PlayStation 4 Pro at half price to the gamers if they are willing to trade the standard PlayStation 4. According to the retailer, a B grade or above standard PlayStation 4 console with 500GB or 1TB of storage should be traded along with any five PS4 games except FIFA 14 and FIFA 15. And also, a GAME reward account is required in order to complete the trade, according to terms and conditions.
As mentioned, the retailer will be assessing the condition of the PlayStation 4 during the deal, after which the trade will take place. For those planning to enter the trade deal, will be asked for £20 as a deposit fee. The upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro costs around £349.99, so you will have to pay £174.99 in cash if the trade succeeds.
It must be noted that the trade will be running only the first week of the new console’s launch, after which the deal will be ended. Sony plans to launch the new console on November 10th for $399 and £349. Stay tuned for more updates.
