Thanks to the guys at Digital Foundry we have here a performance comparison of the NVIDIA GeForce Titan X (Pascal), the new high-end graphics from NVIDIA camp, arriving at a price of 1,310 euros and at the moment it can only be purchased through the company’s website. The graphics will face against the GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070, while on the red side, we have the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X

1080p (Full HD)

Lets start with the most used resolution, this is none other than the Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) where all these graphics should run any game to the highest possible quality at 60 FPS. In eight tested games, GeForce Titan X (Pascal) takes an average of 131.5 FPS, while the GeForce GTX 1080 takes an average of 108 FPS, this translates into an additional cost of 550 euros to win 23.5 FPS. Both graphics cards are not able to run all games to more than 120 or 144 Hz.

1440p (2K)

On more demanding resolution such as 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels), the TITAN X (Pascal) shows a great advantage in games like Crysis 3 and The Division with improved performance of around 57 percent. Nevertheless, the four named graphics cards are developed quite well with a general average getting 60 FPS in most games. The TITAN X (Pascal) gets out an average of almost 96 FPS while the GTX 1080 complies with almost 76.50 FPS, this means that the difference here is somewhat lower, 19.50 FPS.

And then comes the PC Master Race, at 4K resolution only GeForce GTX Titan (Pascal) gets 60 FPS in 3 out of 8 titles. If we take the average, the TITAN X (Pascal) delivers 54.50 FPS compared to GTX 1080 43 FPS, a difference of 11.50 FPS.

If we talk about Overclocking, the GeForce GTX 1080 can easily perform closer to Titan (Pascal X) costing almost half.
