The development of Gears of War 4 has been finished. Microsoft announced today via social media that the game entered in the golden phase.

The Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, the head of the Xbox division, Phil Spence and other executives gathered at the headquarters of The Coalition development studio in Vancouver to celebrate the milestone. The company marked the occasion with a celebration picture where Nadella hold the disc with the final files for the game next to Spencer and the leader of the developer, Rod Fergusson.
Enter, the golden age means that the game development is already finished and ready to be entered in the market. But the development does not stop there: the team will not work on patches to make the most polished game and fix bugs.
Gears of War 4 will come to Xbox One and PC via Windows 10 store on October 11. It’s the second in the series to be developed outside the core Epic Games team who brought us the first three, but the first since Epic sold the IP to Microsoft.
