Just in: Microsoft during its E3 2016 press conference announced upcoming Gears of War 4 for Windows 10 users.

Gears of War 4 Announced for Windows 10, Comes with Cross-Play and Cross-Buy Support



Earlier, it was being said that the game might get released for Windows 10 but today, Microsoft confirmed it officially. Furthermore, the studio chief Rod Fergusson also confirmed that the game will be having Play Anywhere support, allowing gamers to play either from Xbox One or Windows 10 with its saved achievements and game progress.

The studio head also revealed that the game includes cross-play support, allowing Xbox One and PC gamers to play together with single player mode, multiplayer mode and the new Horde mode.

The game is set for release on October 11th, 2016 for Xbox One and PC. On the Windows 10, it will have support for Horde mode, Co-Op, 4K output and ‘more’. Check out the latest E3 Gameplay Campaign footage of Gears of War 4 below;

Multiplayer Beta for Gears of War 4 began 2 months ago, between April 18th and 24th, requiring players to Gears of War: Ultimate Edition first in order to qualify for the Beta. It was also revealed that the campaign mode will be running at 1080p and 30 fps while multiplayer mode at 1080p and 60 fps on the Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
