It was being said that pirating video games would be one hell of a job in coming years. Because of Denuvo’s anti-tamper technology, it is becoming difficult for the hacking groups, such as famous 3DM to crack the games protected by Denuvo.

Recently, it was reported that the group almost gave up on cracking the new Just Cause 3, which was also protected by the Denuvo. The game was released on December 1st, 2015. According to the group leader, it was ‘too difficult’ for the group to crack the game, especially the last stage.

3DM Stops Pirating Game for a Year

Famous video game cracking China based group, the 3DM just now confirmed that it won’t be pirating any more single-player games, for at least a year. The news just came from Bird Sister, confirming that the group will suspend its function of pirating the games to see the impact on sales of the video game.

“We just had an internal meeting. Starting at the Chinese New Year, 3DM will not crack any single-player games,” stated the group leader Bird Sister. “Cracks by overseas warez groups will still get posted on the [3DM] forum, and we will actively deal with these,” “We’ll take a look at the situation in a year’s time to see if genuine sales have grown,”

The group is famous among the majority of PC Gamers, especially those who enjoy the pirated games instead of purchasing the legit. FIFA 15 was the first game protected by Denuvo and it tooks months for the group to crack it, and same was the case with other Denuvo protected games.

This decision will certainly have an impact on the game publishers as well as the gamers. But there are other groups too known for cracking the games. Stay tuned for more updates!
