Company Galax (s) is known primarily for its graphics cards, but apart from that they are also offering other computer parts like the Rams. Soon they will join the race of highly efficient PCIe SSD.

Galaxy prepares HOF Series PCIe SSD – Read/Write Speed up to 1600 MB/s


Under the brand name of their main eye catching series Hall of Fame (HOF), which is indicating that it is dedicated to the most demanding customers. The transfer speed of this PCIe SSD is amazing transfers up to 1600MB/s sequential read and write. This design is based on the JMicron controller JMF811, and to communicate with the computer, it uses the PCI-Express 2.0 x4 (for this it can only be used with Desktop PCs).

The Galaxy HOF PCIe SSD will be available in capacities of 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB. The official announcement is expected in early January at the CES 2015.
