Remember the white graphics card GeForce GTX 980 Galax HOF? As it turns out, Galax is planning a similar model, but this time with a water block –  we can tell you man it looks just impressive.

GALAX Showcase the Prototype of GTX 980 HOF WC

This refers to the model of the GeForce GTX 980 Galax HOF, which is based on a Maxwell GPU GM204, 2048 CUDA cores and 4 GB of GDDR5 memory with 256-bit interface. Unfortunately, a detailed specification of the candy is not yet known to us, but you suspect strongly disputes raised timings and Overclocking potential – after all, this model has been designed just for Overclocking.

Design of GTX 980 HOF WC:

  • Full copper base
  • Nickel plated base- microfin cooling solution
  • ACTIVE cooling of ALL components
  • White POM top;– water channels designed to have a similar flow no matter which port is used as the in- or outlet of the block.
  • Diamond Cooling team

PCB is in bright White Color and used its cooling by the water block which is designed by Diamond Cooling. The block features an active cooling for all components of the graphics card, consists of copper, nickel base and top with white POM, and its function is to cool all components from heating. We have to admit that it looks very impressive. That’s what I think?

The card will go on sale next year and most likely will only be available in the shop manufacturer. Price? Hmm… better, let’s skip this question;) According to the post, the company will also make a water block for the GTX 970 Hall of Fame (HOF) graphics card and this one should be available soon.
