Recently, we reported that Corsair has issued the most efficient DDR4 memory – Dominator Platinum clocked at 3400 MHz. You do not have to wait long for an answer of competition, because slightly faster memory presented by G.Skill. They are also first to achieve 4004MHz with G. SKILL Ripjaws 4. So you can expect more from this release.

Exactly it comes to the latest set of G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4 – it includes four modules with a capacity of 4 GB (16 GB total), which work with at 3400 MHz clock speeds, delays 16-16-16-36 and a supply voltage of 1.35 V. The memory should be slightly more efficient than the previously described set of Dominator Platinum, because we are dealing here with a slightly lower timings (16-16-16-36 instead 16-18-18-40).

There is also cooling kit, namely Turbulence III added to the Ram kits.

Memory has been designed with Intel Haswell-E, but officially support only two motherboards – ASUS ROG Rampage V Extreme and Gigabyte GA-X99-SOC Champion.

G.Skill Ripjaws memory 4 Specifications:

  • Type: DDR4 RAM
  • Capacity: 4x 4 GB
  • Clock speed: 3400 MHz
  • Delay: 16-16-16-36
  • Supply voltage: 1.35 V
  • XMP profile: 2.0

It is true that the manufacturer has not yet revealed the release date and the price set, but it will certainly be one of the most expensive DDR4 memory.
