Playground Games have announced the new expansion pack called ‘Hot Wheels’ for the Forza Horizon 3 that features six island themed coast of Australia as the racing tracks.

The new Forza Horizon 3 expansion adds new cars and tracks to the game along with a new campaign and events that will be completed. Players will be able to catch up with their friends and other players through the multiplayer mode and new tracks. The expansion will also bring Playground Arena to check the ranking of skilled players. As they complete races, they will be earning points such as Xbox Live achievements.

Up to ten Hot Wheel vehicles are added in the DLC where famous ones include Ford Mustang 2005, Rip Rod of 2012 and Bone Shaker 2011. Below is the list of nine confirmed new hot wheel vehicles;

  • 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker
  • 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod
  • 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang
  • 2016 Jeep Trailcat
  • 2016 Zenvo ST1
  • 2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38
  • 2010 Pagani Zonda R
  • 1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49

The new tracks include elements such as big jumps, boost pads, high-bank turns, half pipes and even giant mechanical dinosaurs. In addition, a Stunt Swap feature is also added to modify stunt track sections. These stunt modifications can also be sent to players so that they can try out as well.

Hot Wheels will be served as the second expansion pack after the Blizzard Mountain which also added new vehicles to the game. The expansion pack will be released on May 9th as a standalone expansion for $20, while the season pass owners will be getting it without additional cost.
