EA has officially announced the designation of their new Chief Technology Officer Ken Moss, former eBay executive.

Former eBay executive

Ken Moss, the former eBay executive who was recently the VP of science and technology for Marketplaces. Moss has more than twenty years of experience in Microsoft where he was the head of search engine development project that’d later become Bing.

An official statement from Andrew Wilson, the CEO of EA confirmed that Moss will lead the Information Technology divisions, vision and strategy of EA’s digital platform along with the organization.

Ken joins us at an important time in EA’s journey, as technology continues to transform the experiences we deliver to our players. We’re designing games as live services, with gamers playing more and for longer than ever before.

Our digital platform provides the underlying infrastructure to deliver fun, seamless and curated journeys for our players. And we’re moving faster as a company, with technology tools and solutions at the core. I’m thrilled to have Ken’s technical leadership on board as we navigate such a dynamic period for EA and the interactive entertainment industry.

Ken Moss replaces the former Chief Technology Officer Rajat Taneka, the former CTO departed from the company last year.

With years of experience in Microsoft and being the former eBay executive, Moss will definitely deliver his unique service to EA by running the technological departments seamlessly.
