After months of speculation and fan art, Netflix finally revealed the first images of Henry Cavill in the role of Geralt of Rivia, for The Witcher series.
Along with the revelation they also presented images of other characters such as Yennefer, played by Anya Chalotra, and Ciri, played by Freya Allan. Other members of the cast are Jodhi May as Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Heraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, Emma Appleton as Renfri, Eamon Farren as Cahir, Joey Batey as Jaskier, Lars Mikkelsen as Stregobor, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Maciej Musial as Sir Lazlo, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara, and Anna Shaffer as Triss.

Cavill has been a great fan of the saga of The Witcher video game trilogy, as well as Sapkowski’s novels, as he told IGN is an opportunity. With the series of The Witcher, Cavill will make his return to the small screen from his role in The Tudors (2007-2010).
