Final Fantasy, famous series in the gaming history is all set to get its new entry this year in September for current generation consoles. Final Fantasy XV is the fifteenth addition to the famous franchise and players are waiting eagerly to get their hands on the new game.

Final Fantasy XV to Show the Impact of Future of Gaming

The game was announced by Square Enix back in 2006. At that time, it was a PlayStation 3 exclusive titled as Final Fantasy XIII, however, later things turned over depending on the situation and the studio announced it for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and the project was renamed as Final Fantasy XV.

In 2012, Hajime Tabata joined the studio and served as director and designer for the game. And while discussing regarding the upcoming game, he said that they wanted to show the impact of the future of gaming and the upcoming Final Fantasy XV will be showing what the studio was planning to do.

It was also confirmed by the designer Tabata that the game would not be released for Nintendo’s upcoming console, Nintendo NX which will arrive in early 2017. According to him, the game is focused on current generation consoles. It was also reported that the game might get ported to the upcoming upgraded high-end consoles, PS4 Neo and Xbox One.

Final Fantasy XV is scheduled for release on September 30 worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
