Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition was one of the biggest announcement from Gamescom 2017. The title was under speculation since its release on current gen consoles but finally got official a few days ago.

Square Enix has released a new gameplay footage for the Final Fantasy XV PC version running on 4K resolution at 60 FPS for its one of the biggest audience in gaming industry who eagerly waiting for the official PC gameplay and it is rightful to say that the title looks more amazing with enhanced visuals as compared to the console version.

It was confirmed that the title will be using several visual enhancement features after its agreement with GPU manufacturing giant NVIDIA such as GameWorks, HairWorks and textures. Have a look into the new gameplay right below;

While the description reads; “The critically acclaimed Final Fantasy XV is finally on its way to PC in ultimate quality. Take a look at the crisp 4K 60FPS gameplay from the new Windows Edition, featuring NVIDIA game tech.”

Previously, the game director confirmed that the PC version will have complete mods support, including the most common nude mods as well. He showed his concerns over the nude mods but said that they cannot be taken down or limit players from certain mods. The players will be paying for the game so it should be left on their ‘moral sense’.

While he also claimed that they are pretty serious towards the PC version of the game. It will not be a simple port and instead, a complete version with visual optimizations. But it will require some great system specs to run the game on 4K resolution at 60 FPS as the GTX 1080 Ti is not enough for the game to be played on 4K/60 frames per second.

Final Fantasy XV is scheduled for release sometime ‘early 2018’ on PC, while the game is already available on PS4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
