PlayStation 4 has been the best selling console so far, competing against rivalry Xbox One, according to the records of every month conducted through share and surveys. A recent report mentioned that Sony’s PlayStation 4 dominates Xbox One and currently have around 90% of market shares.
Director of the Square Enix, Tetsuya Nomura revealed that they are expecting that the sales of Sony’s PlayStation 4 will be increased after the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Remake, as reported by Engadget.
“Why now? This week at E3 we announced several titles coming to the PS4: not only FFXV, Kingdom Hearts 3, and World of Final Fantasy, but [also] a new Star Ocean and more. Rather than announce the remake after those titles went on sale, we wanted to give gamers something that would make them happy – open them up, perhaps, to buying into the PS4.” said Nomura
This will help Sony in increasing the sales of PS4 in Japan, as it was reported before that the PS4 sales in Japan were not really good. Till now, the game is confirmed for PS4 only, but it is being suggested that the game might released for the PC and Xbox One. Trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake can be viewed below:
