TGS 2015: Recently, Square Enix announced Final Fantasy Type-0 Online today at the Tokyo Game Show event. The game is currently under development and will be released for PC and for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone in the Spring 2016.

This new addition in the franchise will be the third incarnation of Type-0. As per the Square Enix, the game is set in ‘parallel world’ from the original one and will be more in hack-and-slash fashion. Check out the announcement trailer of the game below:


The Final Fantasy Type-0 Online is being developed by Perfect World, a Chinese Online game company and as per reports, the game will be available for test in China. The game will be released in Japan in Spring 2016 where as the release in North America and Europe is ‘under consideration.

It will be an action-RPG, just like the original Type-0 with multiplayer. Following are some of the screenshots.
