Bethesda has been working on the upcoming multiplayer online game Fallout 76 for a long time, and as the release date gets closer, we get to hear more information about the game’s setting and features.
A new set of information was shared by director of Bethesda Game Studios, Todd Howard during his recent interview with Multiplayer.it where he confirmed that the game will feature fast travel option and a players protection system for the new gamers who recently joined the online experience and are below the 5th level of the game.
We all are familiar with the fast travel feature and how that works. He didn’t comment much on the fast travel feature, so we guess that it will work like the previous games developed by Bethesda, probably The Elder Scrolls Online.
While he also talked about a feature which will protect the newly joined players who will be having level below 5. It will be advantage for the players as they are beginners and they cannot be killed in the PvP game setting. The director didn’t mention any details on how the system will work, but it is definitely a good idea since the beginners get brutally killed by senior players having higher rank or level. However, he did say that the feature is available as of now but can be changed later on. Let’s see how things go and will it be there when the game launches later this year.
Fallout 76 is the first online multiplayer game in the franchise and the studio believes that next projects, including the Fallout 5 will be going back to the single-player experience.
The game is scheduled for release on November 14th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. What are your thoughts on the new Fallout game?
