Previously, NVIDIA has released it’s Maxwell Second Generation Architecture based Graphics Card Gtx 980 and Gtx 970,the new Maxwell architecture is based on lower power consumption and more thermal chip, the GM204 is the latest and improved version equipped with some new technologies. The GM204 Chips have two variants, GM204-400 is used on the Gtx 980 and the GM204-200 is fused on the GTX 970. The GM204-400 Chips of Gtx 980 fuses 2048 CUDA Cores, 128 TMUs, 64 ROPs. The core clock is maintained at 1126 MHz core and 1216 MHz boost while the Memory clocked is around 7.00 GHz Effective which pumps out 224.4 GB/s bandwidth. The power supply interface for dual 6pin design, thermal design power 165W.
Apart from the default frequencies the manufacture also insures that the Graphics Cards will also entertain the enthusiast player also. Renowned GPU Overclocker and record holder KingPin has previously made awesome entry with the Overclocking of NVIDIA Maxwell based EVGA Gtx 980. On the second day of the release he makes a massive leap with EVGA GTX 980. To sustain this overclock liquid nitrogen was used and the result is an impressive score of 19040 on Fire Strike and 9191 on Fire Strike Extreme.

Now we can expect more as EVGA is preparing a new GeForce GTX 980 Classified KingPin Edition, this teaser is coming from the Facebook post of Vince Lucido. It was really a good graphic card equipped with better heatsink and other things by using Ln2 Vince Lucido had achieved more +2200Mhz with it. One thing here I want to share that KingPin Graphics cards are never designed for a better look, but they are in the race to beat the scores. This is what you can expect from GeForce GTX 980 Classified KingPin Edition.
EVGA will release its new bad boy in a few months as they are not new in the race to make a foolish step by releasing it before the arrival of GM200 Graphics cards.
