According to information published by the Polish site Graczpospolita.pl, the Techland studio (also located in Poland) would be working on Dying Light 2, the continuation of the acclaimed open-world cooperative survival that recently received other free downloadable content.
“I have managed to determine from a couple of independent sources, both current employees and former Techland employees, that the company is working on Dying Light 2,” writes Michał Król for the site.
“Currently, the studio focuses on the preparation of a high-quality trailer to be presented at the upcoming E3 fairs in Los Angeles (12-14 June),” Król added, and his sources say that the recent launch of the Bad Blood DLC, focused on a battle royale mode, it is a sign and a field test of what they will be presenting in the next game.
“I’ve also received confirmation that the DL2 announcement has been constantly delayed because the first game is still supported, and the team was focused on the aforementioned Bad Blood added.”
The first Dying Light has received several great updates, inviting players to continue exploring this broad post-apocalyptic world, taking advantage of what is perhaps the best first-person parkour gameplay in the industry. Techland has been working on several projects in recent years, and it is believed that there is still another great title to be announced.
