Bethesda released the launch trailer for its highly anticipated DOOM with the minimum and recommended system requirements for the full version of the game. In order to run games at high-quality in full HD resolution you will need a computer with a price around 1,000 euros. Remember that DOOM will arrive on May 13, 2016 jointly to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Both AMD and NVIDIA will offer optimized drivers for DOOM on its release.

DOOM: Final System Requirements Revealed

DOOM Minimum Requirements (HD Resolution / 1280 x 720)

A processor of at least four cores as Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.40 GHz  or an  AMD FX-8320 @ 3.50 GHz  (curious comparative) with  8GB of RAM  and a graphics card greater than or equal to a  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670  or  AMD Radeon HD 7870.

DOOM Recommended Requirements (Full HD Resolution/ 1920 x 1080)

Now we turn to Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.90 GHz  or  AMD FX-8350 @4.20 GHz keeping 8GB of RAM,  but increasing the Graphics card to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970  or  AMD Radeon R9 290. In both cases, it will take at least  55 GB of available space, a Steam account and a Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 in its variant of  64 bits.

The actual “launch unlocks and server launch” will take place at the following geographically-dependent times:

  • Australia/New Zealand @ 12 am AEST
  • North America @ 12 am ET
  • Europe @ 12 am GMT +1
  • Japan/South Korea/Rest of Asia – 12 am Japan
