Bethesda has announced that DOOM Eternal will arrive on 8th December 8 for Nintendo Switch, although it will only be available in its digital version and will not enjoy a physical release. The port of this game developed by id Software will be carried out by Panic Button, who has already released the version of DOOM (2016), Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus and Wolfenstein: Yougblood on the Nintendo Switch, so you know what they do.

As much as Panic Button is behind the project, it is obvious that there are very great technical limitations with the Nintendo Switch to host a title to match, so do not expect great level of details and game will run at stable 30 fps.

We will have to wait for the Digital Foundry analysis to see a great visual difference compared to other platforms, although what will really be required of the game is not visual quality, but great performance, so we will see if the portable console is still up to par or everything is already going down the hill.
