After the success of the first campaign, which allowed the development of the acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin. Now Swen Vincke, founder of Larian Studios – announces the start of a new stage of collection, also through Kickstarter to begin to shape the Divinity: Original Sin 2.

The campaign will begin on August 26, and no details on game features, or rewards for backers be unveiled till now. Larian has launched a page dedicated to public input on the rewards, which already can start giving ideas of what may be gained by contributing to the financing of the title.

“Divinity: Original Sin 2 is built on the foundations that have been sitting with Divinity: Original Sin (D: OS) and Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition (D: OS EE),” said Vincke in your blog. “For us, this approach allows for unprecedented gameplay. We will not be ‘wasting time’ elementary building systems that typically take over 60% of our development time.Instead, we can begin to build the world immediately, and try all kinds of things. “

Original Sin 2 will have a playable demo of the prototype for the next PAX Prime. Vincke says Larian Studios already has a budget that has allowed them to develop the concept much they expect to have in this sequel, but proceeds from a successful campaign will allow them to take things even further.

We will have more information when the campaign is beginning. It will surely be successful in a very short time, due to the large base of fans achieved the success of the original game.
