DiRT Rally to target 1080p and 60fps on PS4 & Xbox One

According to the newly published report from VideoGamer, the PS4 version of the game is ‘very close’ to the target, while Xbox One version might run at 900p if failed to hit the targeted fps at 1080p.

“We’re very, very close on PS4 (1080p/60fps). We’ve still got a little bit more work to do on Xbox One. But, you know, I think that’s fair to say that for everyone out there, PS4 is certainly a little bit easier to get this stuff running smoothly. That’s not to say that we’re not going to try and get as close as we can with it (on Xbox One).”

“We don’t want to just drop it across the board. I think we’re going to look at the troublemaker scenarios, like heavy snow on certain tracks or rain on Rallycross races, and we’ll do it where we need to do it. But ultimately I want to be running at 1080p/60fps wherever we can.”

“It doesn’t look like we’ve stripped it back or anything. It looks much the same as the PS4 version. I think it’s just that it’s been easier for us to get PS4 working at the performance we’ve been hoping for.”

The game is scheduled for release on April 5th, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates
