Hideo Kojima announced his first game named as Death Stranding, which is currently under development by his own studio called Kojima Productions. Kojima was previously working with the Konami and is known for famous action series such as Metal Gear Solid.
During Sony’s press conference at the E3 2016, studio showcased the trailer of its new Death Stranding featuring Norman Reedus as the main character, where he is holding a newborn baby heavyheartedly. Yesterday, the studio head Hideo Kojima again took the stage during Sony’s pre Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2016 press conference and revealed some information regarding his forthcoming project.
According to Kojima, Death Stranding will be an open-world, action game which aims to connect the gamers with new ways. He also confirmed that the game will be supported with the UHD 4K resolution and HDR to offer some amazing visual experience.
“We want to prove that indie studios can produce AAA world class masterpieces”
“At the end of the day I want to offer an action game where people get connected with different elements, not just clubs,” said Kojima.
The game will provide a lot of freedom to the players according to the developer, while there will also be a multiplayer and a co-op mode. Currently, the game is under development for PlayStation 4 and the release date will be announced sometime later. Stay tuned for more updates!
