The second PlayStation Studios title to make its debut on PC, Days Gone is now available via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and both AMD and Nvidia have released new drivers for the best performance in Bend Studio’s open-world title. Nvidia drivers also add support for EA’s Knockout City.

For those unaware, Days Gone PC features include ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked frames per second, improved graphics (increased detail levels, field of view, and vegetation spawn distance), and photo mode with super resolution.

These Nvidia drivers also add support for the new anti-cryptocurrency mining algorithm “Lite Hash Rate” for the new RTX 30 Series of GPUs (which has different GPU IDs), which has already been sold by Nvidia and several AIB partners.

Halve the hash rate

To help get GeForce GPUs in the hands of gamers, we announced in February that all GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards ship with a reduced Ethereum hash rate.

Today, we took extra steps by applying a reduced ETH hash rate to newly manufactured GeForce RTX 3080, RTX 3070, and RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards. These cards will begin shipping in late May.
