Earlier today, Dark Souls 3 received update 1.11 that introduced new content, balance changes and much more to the game. The update was rolled out across all the platforms, including PlayStation 4 Pro and according to the reports, the game now reaches 60 frames per second, but also doesn’t run at locked 60 frames per second.
The update 1.11 for Dark Souls 3 introduced a number of bug fixes, two new maps to the Undead Match, improved performance and motions, extended time for using miracles, and support for The Ringed City DLC, which is due next week.
Following the update, a couple of enhancements on the PS4 Pro were reported, along with the increase in fps, as compared to the standard PS4 console where the fps is locked at 30 per second. A new frame test video has also emerged on the YouTube, testing the frames on PS4 Pro following the update 1.11. Have a look into it below;
As seen in the footage, the game is playable somewhere between 45 to 60 fps, which is much better than the previously locked 30 fps. Click here to check full patch notes of the update 1.11.
