Many gamers showed their displeasure when CD Projekt RED had announced that Cyberpunk 2077 could only be played with a first-person perspective. Since the game has been out for almost a month and some fans consider that it would not hurt to put an option to play it in the third person, several modders started experimenting with the game’s camera, and today released the first mod (or hack) that allows you to play Cyberpunk 2077 in the third person.

Developed by Jelle Bakker, this mod is basically a Cheat Engine mod that allows you to play Cyberpunk 2077 in the third person with four different cameras, which can be changed with the letter B.

To install it, you will have to download the Cyber Engine Tweaks tool and the mod “JB – TPP MOD WIP third person” from in Nexus Mods. Extract its content in “Cyberpunk 2077 \ bin \ x64 \”, and to test the different cameras in third person, you need just need to press the “B” key. Install process also explained in the video above.

Please note, of course, that this mod is currently work in progress, which means that it may have some bugs and glitches that will be fixed with new versions.
