Crytek has been working on a new mysterious title Hunt: Showdown lately and the studio unveiled the most recent teaser trailer of the project last night.

Hunt: Showdown is a mysterious project currently under development by Crytek, the studio behind the famous Crysis franchise. Quite a little is known about the project since Crytek had maintained silence regarding the game. And with this new teaser, it indicates that the ideas related to the title will be under speculations pretty soon.

Hunt: Showdown teaser showcases a forest where two armed men are attacked by two other characters in the darkness for some un-specified reasons. Have a look into the teaser below;

The description reads;

When two hunters risk everything
And evil waits unseen
The hunter becomes the hunted 

It is reported that Hunt: Showdown is the renewed version of Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, a horror, shooter title, which was being developed by Crysis a couple of years ago. The title was said to be a free-to-play game with the planned beta release in 2014 but the project was never released.
