Earlier this month we reported the launch of the next edition of I’m a Maker Challenge. But this is not the only competition for modders organized by Cooler Master. Recently they launched a recruitment program for Case Mod World Series in 2016, which is described as ” a competitive event designed to find the greatest PC modders in the world..”.
Cooler Master Organized Case Mod World Series 2016
“Modding has exploded in recent years and is taking root in every corner of the globe. The Case Mod World Series is about fuelling that growth. It’s about igniting the modding spirit – the maker spirit – on the web and right in your community,” said Michelle Wu, global community manager.
Case Mod World Series 2016 is a competition for modders – primarily for players and also a virtual entertainment to inspire. The firm is offering up S$30,000 in cash and prizes and has brought together sponsors such as ASUS, Avexir, Dremel, NVIDIA, and OCZ to support and engage with the PC modding community. Anyone interested can register for this year’s edition. To do this, go to the official website of Cooler Master and follow the guidelines (that is, create an account on the CM Forum, the so-called start.).
If you need additional inspiration, we encourage you to check the winning projects from the previous year. We also recommend to look at the project of 21-year-old Czech, Karel Philip. He worked on Master Case Pro 5, the red and black paint highlights the color and style of components.
What’s inside? In the winning rig you can find powerful motherboard VIII Hero, ASUS FURY graphics card and Intel Core i7 6700K with Cooler Master Nepton 240M water cooling. There is also a 16 GB RAM and 3 data stores: 2 SSD HyperX Savage (240 GB each) and 1 HDD Seagate 3TB.
