The intentions of Cooler Master to enter the gaming monitor market became known last year, when the vendor announced a pair of such devices at Computex 2019. Visitors to CES 2020 this week could see two new displays: the GM34-CW and GM27-CF. Both new items are scheduled for release this month.
Common features of the new Cooler Master monitors include the radius curvature of1500 mm, support for AMD FreeSync technology and a high refresh rate. The Cooler Master GM27-CF uses a 27-inch VA panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This monitor is characterized by a brightness of 300 cd / m², a contrast ratio of 3000: 1, 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 palette, a response time of 3 ms (gray to gray), and a refresh rate of 165 Hz.
Meanwhile, the Cooler Master GM34-CW uses a 34-inch VA matrix with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. It has a brightness of 400 cd / m² and 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, which allowed it to pass the VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and also boasts support for AMD FreeSync 2 (now FreeSync Premium Pro). The refresh rate is 144 Hz, the contrast is 3000: 1, and the response time is 1 ms (MPRT).
In foreign stores, the Cooler Master GM27-CF gaming display will cost at least $ 300, while the Cooler Master GM34-CW will be available at a price of $ 750.
