Funcom’s recently released open-world title, Conan Exiles is doing great in the market while currently stands at #1 on the Steam’s Global Top Seller. The developer seems to be happy with the success and will continue to improve the game.

According to Funcom, Conan Exiles has managed to sell over 320,000 copies and already recovered the development cost. The developers will keep working with the community to add new content and features in the game and make a good experience for the gamers.

Rui Casais, CEO Funcom in his press release said that;

“We are deeply humbled and very grateful for the initial success of Conan Exiles. Funcom has gone through some challenging times in recent years and seeing the game we have poured so much time and effort into gain this amount of traction so quickly is very invigorating for everyone who works here.

He said that the Early Access turned out to be great for the Conan and survival fans and they we do whatever it takes to shape it into a full fledged game.

Moreover, the developer also released the custom Conan Exiles Dev Kit, allowing players to create game mods and all related stuff which can be uploaded to the Conan Exiles Steam Workshop. For developing mods, players will need to download Unreal Launcher, which allows access to the mod editor.

Soon after the game’s early access, the official servers were down due to the feud with their partners. According to Funcom, the servers will be back soon, until then the players can play solo or join more than 12,000 currently available private servers.

Conan Exiles is now available for PC and the Xbox One preview title will be available sometime in Spring this year. More will be revealed during this year’s Game Developers Conference.
