1usmus announced the arrival of a new version of its Clock Tuner application, which has been updated to add support to AMD Ryzen 5000 processors promising an improvement of up to 7.5 percent in the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with this new version.
This new version “Clock Tuner 2.0“, for now exclusive to Patreon users, partners and testers, also support AMD Ryzen Renoir APUs, Tuning and Diagnostics mode along with a new monitoring system that does not require of the Ryzen Master, the Phoenix feature will restore the system after a reboot or blue screen of death, the CTR HYBRID OC (manual OC + PBO simultaneously) also being implemented, the Smart Offset 2.0 for smart frequencies (better diagnostic of the frequencies ), and application performance and security are also improved.
According to the tests carried out, users will be able to choose between a drastic decrease in consumption or an improvement in performance, indicating a reduction in consumption of 28 percent with almost the same performance, or generate a gain of more than 7.5 percent with the same factory power consumption (this improvement will depend on each CPU and the cooling system used). The user will simply have to choose by means of a click what he prefers for his system.
Clock Tuner 2.0 will be available on January 20th, 2020 to download, while Patreon users, partners and testers can download it now.
