Civilization VI, forthcoming strategy game is under the final stages of its development by Firaxis Games. Thankfully, the publisher 2K Games have revealed the system specifications required to run the game and we can say that the required specs are not too much demanding.

Judging from the mentioned specs, even a Core i3 equipped with 4 GB memory will run the game fine. On the game’s Steam page, the developers updated that they have tested the Civilization VI on various systems just to ensure that the “game is optimized as it can be“. Check out the minimum and recommended system specifications below;

  • CPU: Intel Core i3 2.5 Ghz or AMD Phenom II 2.6 Ghz or greater
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • HDD: 12 GB or more

  • GPU: 1 GB DirectX 11 Video Card (AMD 5570 or nVidia 450)

In another news, the developer Firaxis Games and publisher 2K Games have announced a Civilization VI Anniversary Edition costing $89.99. The Anniversary edition was confirmed as a limited edition with only 20,000 copies being planned for sale.

Civilization, originally created by Sid Meier, the legendary game designer, it is a turn-based strategy game in which your goal is to build an empire. Conquer the world by establishing and leading your own civilization from the Stone Age to the Information Age. Libra wars, diplomacy, promote the progress of your culture and confront face to face the most important leaders in history to develop the largest ever known civilization.
