CD Projekt RED on Cyberpunk 2077, “must be f**king great”

Last year, the team released one of the most amazing role-playing game till date, The Witcher 3 which received most of Game of the Year awards and was highly appraised by critics and fans. CD Projekt RED is currently working on its futuristic sci-fci action game, Cyberpunk 2077 which the studio head described as “even better, even bigger, even more revolutionary” lately. According to the CEO Iwinski,

“Right now, we have the success of the Witcher 3; people played it and people loved it. So it’s even more responsibility. The fact that Witcher 3 performed so well allows us to be even more ambitious with Cyberpunk 2077. Right now, it’s on our shoulders to deliver here. The next time you hear about Cyberpunk 2077 we will show something and it must be f**king great.

“People really expect something great and that’s what we have to stand up to and deliver.”

He further stated about team’s shift towards guns and ammunition as well.

“After a decade working with dragons, swords, and medieval themes, the team is feeling energized to work on a project involving guns, ammo, mutants, and implants,”

The game was announced back in 2012 and is long long away from its release as of now while the time frame for release is stated for sometime between year 2017 and 2021. Stay tuned for more updates!
