Bad news for fans of Dragon’s Dogma saga. Through an article in Eurogamer, Capcom Japan announced that for the moment there are no plans to launch the game in West.
Capcom has no plans to release Dragon’s Dogma Online in the West
According to the description filtered by the scans of the Japanese magazine Famitsu, Dragon’s Dogma Online is an action game MMO style, but all components of a standard MMO, similar in some respects to what we see in online titles such as Guild Phantasy or Star Wars Online. Dragon’s Dogma Online presented with a world lobbies open world with up to 100 players can play it in the form of parties with up to three people NPCs–or more to make a wide variety of quests. There will also be events by time and some raids with support for up to 8 players, and matchmaking to spare the time to look for a party.
Dragon’s Dogma Online is free-to-play with micro-transactions and will be available for PC, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. No confirmed cross-play between these platforms at the moment, but if it has been reported that single will be released in Japan and no plans to publish it in the West.
