On the off chance if you think of it though, it all adds up. Fraghero was sent this checked duplicate of the picture by a reader passing by the name Mari Fernett. Upon request, Mari was upbeat to talk with us and let us know that this particular magazine was issued in Febuary and in the Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 was specified under a feature called “2016 Most Wanted Games”.

From the above picture you can see that, the writer of the article mentioned Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 among the most foreseen games for 2016 and says that Infinity Ward needs to truly venture up its game if it is to achieve the level it did with the Modern Warfare series.

As we all know Activision already affirmed that the next Call of Duty was being made by Infinity Ward on February 11 amid a financial investor call, the designers/developers of the Modern Warfare games and in addition Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Tweet by Infinity Ward:

Games TM is a regarded magazine, which has been operational for quite a while and in spite of the fact that it positively appears like a gaffe from its end. The author may very well have overlooked that the game wasn’t formally affirmed yet and some way or another it went past the editors as well.

Below you can see the transcript of the magazine:

When creative strategist Robert Bowling exited Infinity Ward in 2012, he put the departure down to the studio doing “too much ‘pew pew’ not enough new new.” We got a look at what he meant with the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts – a solid, yet unspectacular next-gen debut for the franchise. Infinity Ward will have had three years to work on a follow up, and it needs to showcase the same creative spark that once put in on the map with Modern Warfare back in ’08 if it wants any chance of standing shoulder to shoulder with Sledgehammer and Treyyarch.

Interestingly, the same article likewise mentioned a new Need for Speed game, Battlefield 5 and Destiny 2. In spite of the fact that it doesn’t give out any new subtle elements. It marks Destiny 2 to be released in the Q4 of 2016.

It will interesting to perceive how Infinity Ward conveys the series forward and when an official declaration would be made.
