Treyarch surprises us with the announcement of tools for Mods and Map for the new Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be released on this weekend. Tools will be available from next year, the first time in many years, since World at War you can add content to a Call of Duty.

According to the studio, their plan is to allow the community to create maps and modes to run them on their own dedicated servers, unranked, also becoming another milestone in the series, with the return of totally controlled servers by players.

These tools will be presented in the form of closed alpha during the month of March, and later there will be an open beta. We fear making a bad speculation, but this Black Ops 3 is shaping up to be one of the unforgettable series. Perhaps we are facing the new Call of Duty 4.
