As many of you remember, one of the most brilliant titles at the time of its presentation during the last E3 conference was the new game of BioWare, known under the name of Anthem. Now, the developer has confirmed that the title will have a trial period with its beta.

This has been stated by Jonathan Warner, the development director of Anthem, who answered several questions about the game on Twitter. It was in one of those questions where Warner responded affirmatively that his title will have a beta phase, although he didn’t specify a time or exact date for the period of beta testing.

Anthem is an action RPG title in which we will develop into a huge world where you will see from the most advanced technologies to the ancient ruins of civilization. The protagonists of the game will be known as Freelancers, a group of explorers who abandoned their civilization to confront the wild beasts in the world and enter the most unknown places on the planet. Electronic Arts has presented Anthem in response to the large number of cooperative genre shooter games in the competition, such as Destiny.

Anthem is the official name for “Dylan,” a Bioware project that has been in development for several years. In an earnings call in May, EA CEO Andrew Wilson described the then unnamed project as “stunning.”

“GAMEPLAY MECHANICS ARE EXCELLENT,” SAID WILSON, “AND THE ACTION WILL BE EXHILARATING. THE GAME IS BUILT AROUND A LIVE SERVICE, AND THROUGH OUR CREATIVE PROCESS, WE’VE DECIDED TO ADD MORE TO THE DISRUPTIVE NEW SOCIAL DESIGNS FOR OUR PLAYERS. TO ACCOMMODATE THAT, WE ARE MOVING THE LAUNCH DATE FOR THIS PROJECT INTO FISCAL YEAR ’19.”

Undoubtedly, from what we have seen so far,  the graphic section is spectacular, although we will have to wait to see if the final version is as good or undergoes a downgrade.
