Bethesda Softworks, a game developer studio known for working on the famous Fallout franchise is currently working on a new game for Android and iOS after the success of Fallout Shelter.

Bethesda’s director and executive producer Todd Howard recently had an interview with GameSpot where he discussed about the Fallout Shelter and the future mobile games from the studio after the success of the previous game.

Fallout Shelter was the first ever mobile game developer by the studio, allowing players to create and manage their vault. The game was loved by the players and turned out to be successful, having more than 50 million registered players since its launch. It appears that the success led the studio to work on a new mobile game.

According to Howards, the new project is already in the works and is something new.

We loved making it so we were ecstatic when it was so successful. It kind of blew us away.

We do have another mobile project game that we thought about for a while. Based on the Shelter experience, we’re kind of rolling on something new.
