Many Fallout fans and especially PlayStation 4 owners are not happy over Bethesda’s decision for not providing the previous Best RPG winner Fallout 3, for the PlayStation 4. One PS4 gamer tweeted VP of Marketing of Bethesda, Pete Hines on Twitter and asked that why Xbox One is getting the Fallout 3 with the Fallout 4 pre-order and PlayStation 4 is not getting it.
Pete Hines responded to the question and said that “Microsoft wanted to do this for Xbox One, so we said ok”.
@b_delany@Biggypie by doing what? How are you different than a PC gamer for that matter? MS wanted to do this for Xbox one, so we said ok.

The Xbox One players will be playing Fallout 3 because of console’s backward compatibility, which was announced by Microsoft during the E3 event this year and it was assumed that the Fallout may be among one of the backward compatible titles. Moreover, he said that PS4 isn’t backward compatible.
@Biggypie well for one thing ps4 doesn’t support or plan to support backwards compat.

So the things between PS4 and Xbox One are not actually the same, and that’s the reason why Xbox One will be having Fallout 3. The game is set for release on November 10, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
