Battlefield V, one of the most popular anticipated game of 2018 is in the final stages of development and as the release date gets closer, players get the chance to try out the beta so they can finally decide purchase the game.

Game’s closed beta was available for the players of all the platforms back in June which received mixed reviews and Gamescom 2018 is around the corner, where more details will be revealed regarding the gameplay. Prior to the gameplay, EA DICE revealed a new gameplay trailer and announced the starting date of its open beta.

As per the details, Battlefield V open beta will begin from September 6 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, whereas those who pre-ordered the game will be getting early access to the beta starting from September 4. The new beta will feature Conquest mode supporting 64-player game in the Rotterdam map.

Apart from that, Arctic Fjord map will be playable with the Conquest mode as well the much awaited game mode Grand Operations. Grand Operations mode will be two days long in the upcoming beta with story dependent on the events that took place in the past. While narrative part ‘Tides of War’ will be available for the open beta players, including five different chapters of the World War 2.

Earlier, we reported that Battlefield V will support NVIDIA RTX ray tracing technology with much more enhanced and real time visuals, reflecting the objects to the surface of the game. NVIDIA has published the new RTX technology supported trailer of the game which can be seen below;

This is the first installment in the Battlefield franchise to be supported with the RTX technology. Here’s what the developer said in the company’s blog update;

“It’s always been important to us as a studio to stay one step ahead as we look to increase the graphical fidelity in games.”

Battlefield V to release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 19. The Digital Deluxe Edition will begin from October 16, whereas subscribers of Origin Access can play the game from October 11. Stay tuned for more updates!
