As we reported earlier that the upcoming shooter Battlefield V will feature up-to 8 new multiplayer game modes, out of which 3 will be completely new. One of them was ‘Grand Operations’ and according to the new developments, this mode will not be playable at the launch.

According to the blog update on game’s official website, we will be able to take part in the operations mode sometime later and not when the game launches in October this year. It says, “Shortly after launch, you will be able to take part in the first Grand Operation”.

Grand Operations is one of the most hyped modes featured in the new Battlefield V, which is an upgraded version of the ‘Operations’ mode of Battlefield 1, which takes players in the operation that lasts in a series of multiple days, and each day represents a new round. While events of present day are related to the impacts of the previous day, having its own rewards and game setting.

According to EA, “The actions you, your squad, and your team take on day one will have a direct impact on the narrative and gameplay start of day two, which in result will impact day three, and so on,”

While the developer studio did not revealed when exactly the mode will be launched, but some reports suggest that it will be released one month after the game’s release.

Battlefield V will be released for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 19th with Standard Edition and on October 16th with Battlefield V Deluxe Edition. The game is available for pre-order with bonuses such as early access to open beta, special assignment and special soldier set
