DICE is gearing up for its upcoming shooter Battlefield V but it appears that the developers are not fully done with the previous Battlefield 1 and we will get to see new content and changes in the form of updates.

A new update for Xbox One X was promised by DICE entitled as ‘Summer Update‘ that will add a few things to the game but the recent developments confirm that the console owners will be getting some visual enhancements as DICE will be adding 4K support for the Xbox One X.

The Summer Update was scheduled for 31st July and the reports confirm that it has been officially rolled out for the Xbox One community, adding 4K support along with some visual and game improvements.

Previously, Star Wars Battlefront 2 was released by EA DICE and it supported native 4K output for the Xbox One X console, taking advantage of the upgraded console. However, we have no updates regarding the targeted FPS the game will deliver at 4K output. But it should run at 60 FPS.

Battlefield V is scheduled for release on October 19th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is available for pre-order, unlocking special offers such as early access, special assignment and soldier set. Stay tuned for more updates!
