EA is currently focusing on its upcoming shooter Battlefield 5 and being on the road of promoting its new title, the studio gives away heavy discounts and game expansion packs of its previous games for free.

Last month, the developers offered Battlefield 1 expansion packs ‘They Shall Not Pass’ and ‘In The Name of the Tsar’ to the players and this time, they are offering the expansion ‘Turning Tides‘ for a time period of one week, free of charges.

Turning Tides brings four new maps into the game, new operation related to the British assault on Gallipoli, new troops called ‘Royal Marines’, the Conquest Assault and a new Destroyer along with the Airship.

While the developers have also made the Battlefield 4 DLC Second Assault free of cost for the time period of one week. This expansion brings remastered versions of Caspian Border, Operation Metro, Gulf of Oman and Operation Firestorm.

The expansion packs are free for the U.S and European PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Origin PC players until July 3 and those who get it during the promotional period will be able to keep it in their profiles. While those who are still getting the price tag on the above mentioned expansion packs should wait for the EA to update the game.

Battlefield V will be released on October 19th with Standard Edition and on October 16 with Battlefield V Deluxe Edition for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Stay tuned for more updates!
