Unfortunately, only a day after launch, Batman: The Telltale Series received very bad reviews by many players who have played the PC version of it. The game is badly optimized for the PC.

Apart from the PC version, players are not suffering from the same serious problems with other versions available for consoles. According to lots of affected players, the game is virtually unplayable.

One unhappy Steam user, Cerberus30, puts it like this:

“You could have a PC built by Jesus Christ himself and this game still will run at 10fps, a floaty cursor, and be completely unplayable at the LOWEST settings.”

One Steam review reads: “My specs are far more powerful than the specs required to run it. Results – horrible lag; dialogue doesn’t match up with the animation; very buggy; can’t go full screen even”.

The vast majority also notes that Batman: The Telltale Series has serious problems with controls, continuing problems with the refresh rate of the game, slowdowns number and desynchronization between animations and voices.

Some have pointed out that all these problems may be due to the game uses the integrated graphics of some computers and not the dedicated configured by users.

We’ve contacted Telltale for comment and will update as and when we hear back.
