Publisher of the new HD collection named Batman Return to Arkham have decided to delay the game for an indefinite period of time. The HD collection was set for release on July 28th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Batman Return to Arkham Delayed, No Release Date Announced

The fans will have to wait for some time longer as according to the publisher Warner Bros, the team working at Virtuous Games for the new collection requires additional time in order to deliver a ‘polished Batman Arkham game experience‘. The publishers also announced that there is no confirmed release date as of now, and they will keep updated once it gets confirmed.

We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.

Warner Bros announced the HD collection, which includes Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City last month costing at $49.99. Publisher claims that the players will be experiencing “improved graphics” and “upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects, and shaders.”

Virtuous Games is reportedly using Unreal Engine 4 for the new HD collection Batman Return to Arkham so players can expect enhanced graphics as both of the base games were powered by Unreal Engine 3.
