We continue to see more portable consoles with AMD CPUs and its time to meet the Aya Neo Founder, equipped with a 7-inch IPS touch panel at a 1280 x 800 pixel HD resolution powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U APU with 6 cores and 6 threads Zen2 @ 7nm with a Base / Turbo frequency of 2.30 / 4.00 GHz together with integrated AMD Radeon Vega 6 graphics with 384 Stream Processors @ 1.50 GHz (1.1 TLFOPs of power) accompanied by 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM @ 4266 MHz and 512GB / 1TB capacity SSD as storage option.

The specifications are completed with dimensions of 255 x 106 x 20 mm, WiFi 802.11ax + Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, 47 Whr battery, generous weight of 650 grams (twice in comparison with Switch). Aya Neo Founder uses Windows 10, and goes on sale in China at a local price of 510 euros (512GB) and 590 euros (1TB).

Seeing how technology has evolved, these portable consoles with Windows 10 are offering unjustifiable price, considering you will be able to play games at 720p only.

Such consoles make no longer sense! the company should have launched it with an Intel Tiger Lake CPU with Intel Iris Xe graphics or with the next generation Ryzen 6000 series APUs with RDNA2 graphics. It is not really even a product to recommend, since with services such as Xbox Game Pass you can play a huge number of games at higher quality and without a great loss of battery life on your mobile device, since everything is rendered on a server hundreds or thousands of miles from you.
