Asus China has released the first images of the Asus GeForce GTX 960 (DC3OC-2GD5) featuring custom design and new Tri cooling DirectCU III. The Graphics card uses the GM206 GPU with 1024 CUDA Cores, 64 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The base and Turo boos frequency is Overclocked to 1228/1291 MHz  (1127/1178 MHz Vs Reference), while the GPU is packed with 2GB GDDR5 maintained at the reference speed of 7010 MHz connected to a memory interface of 128 bits.

The DirectCU III cooler from ASUS is the next generation offering for their discrete design cards offering preferred cooling execution over the DirectCU II cooler before it. The outline has got an enormous facial elevate with the expansion of three extensive PWM controlled Cooltech fans with 0db innovation that will switch off the fans from dynamic cooling if the card has thermal loads in point of confinement.

As can be seen, the cooling system is somewhat disproportionate to the TDP of this model, but on the other side of note due to better cooling we can Overclocked it to much higher frequencies. At the moment we don’t have words on Price, but it would not be the worst choice for budget builds.
