The company ASUS offers 27-inch Ultra HD monitor PB279Q, which has been designed with the aim of both entertainment and professional applications.

ASUS PB279Q is equipped with 27-inch display, IPS Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels). The Panel used is characterized by brightness of 300 cd/m 2 , contrast ratio of 1000: 1, a response time of 5ms (GTG) and 178-degree viewing angle (horizontal and vertical) and also offers a 100% coverage of the sRGB color palette.

The monitor can simultaneously display several signals 4K/UHD. Mode Picture-in-Picture (PiP) displays the contents of the second source in one of the corners of the screen. In contrast, the Picture-to-Picture (PBPs) separates screen able to display four separate videos from different sources. The user can choose which of them (including audio) will be the main signal. This mode allows you to set the window in four different ways, and supports up to four windows at the same time.

New ASUS SplendidPlus Video Intelligence optimizes the image by adjusting the color, brightness, contrast and sharpness. In addition to the previously known modes: Scenery, Standard, Movie, sRGB, Game and Night View, has two new settings: Reading and Darkroom. Eye Care ASUS adjusts backlight to reduce flicker and increases comfort while viewing. It is also the base for Reading and Dark modes in SplendidPlus – effectively, they reduce the level of blue light, reducing eye strain. The ASUS VividPixel increases by improving the clarity of the image contours and reduce interference strips. The ASUS QuickFit Virtual Scale allows you to see the actual size of photos and documents on screen before printing.

Narrow, only 9-millimeter frame and full flat, ergonomic design allow full adjustment angle of tilt, swivel and height. The Monitor can use a VESA mount, which means that it can be hung on a wall or placed on a stand.

I/O includes the DisplayPort 1.2 and mini-DisplayPort, which allow the display resolution Ultra HD and frequency of 60Hz refresh rate. In addition, four HDMI 1.4 ports / MHL (Mobile High-definition Link) are used to browse files on the mobile phone and charge your device simultaneously.
