The all new Asus GeForce GTX 980 Platinum Poseidon is equipped with the Nvidia latest Maxwell GM204 Core with 2048 CUDA cores at a frequency of 1178/1279 MHz (vs 1127/1216 MHz) coupled with 4GB of GDDR5 memory @7010 MHz with a 256-bit bus interface. ASUS is being secretive about the clock speeds also the card give freedom to enthusiasts and Overclockers to ready with their LN2 ports from some extreme Overclocking sessions.

The only thing striking about this GeForce GTX 980 Platinum Poseidon is its hybrid cooling system DirectCU H2O, which will give the benefits to  only those users who already have a cooling system that can be attached to the graphics that promises to reduce the temperature to 27 ° C.
