The latest news is coming from Kotaku where they got their hands on the leaked gameplay footage of Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed Victory, from the game footage we can get the idea that the game will be set in the 19th Century London and it’s coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC in fall 2015.
Assassin’s Creed Victory has been Leaked, Set In 19th Century London
The game is under development by Ubisoft Quebec and not Ubisoft Montreal as usual. Ubisoft Quebec were responsible for the DLCs “The Tyranny of King Washington” (Assassin’s Creed III) and “Freedom Cry” (Assassin’s Creed IV).
In the gameplay footage leaked by Kotaky we can see a new item which is grappling hook which would give some sugar coated look to the game, it will allow your character to attach to any surface in the game so we can say it will boost the speed of character while climbing or doing other activities.
A seven-minute “target gameplay footage” video of Victory shows off an in-development version of the game that Kotaku reports run on Ubisoft’s Anvil engine, the same technology behind Unity.
And last but not least Ubisoft also confirmed the presence of Assassin’s Creed Victory. So, it is not the rumor.
“It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we’re disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public,” a representative said. “The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we’re excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin’s Creed Unity for players.”
